Sports Massage:

Sports Massage is the fastest growing massage technique. Sports massage is a system of movements including stretching, gliding, compressing. Sports massage mainly focuses on the manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues and blood circulation and flow. Sports massage is primarily used for sports training, injury prevention and rehabilitation -- it allows athletes to train more effectively and efficiently.

Myofascial Release:

This type of massage is a very effective hands-on technique used to eliminate pain and restore emotion and coordination. This type of massage is used to treat restrictions in the body's contractile connective tissues (muscles) and non-contractile supportive connective tissues (fascia) by the application of gentle or firm traction, pressures and positioning. 

Deep Tissue Massage: 

Deep Tissue Massage performed by a trained licensed "Skillful" massage therapist, utilizes focused applied pressure techniques for various conditions allowing the body’s return to normal health after injury or with muscular-skeletal disorders. It is used to treat chronic muscular-skeletal imbalances, strains, sprains, broken bones, bruising or any injury where the skin is intact. Deep tissue massage removes blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesions left after injury, speeds up recovery and encourages more complete healing. Deep Tissue Massage is also used for conditions created by lifestyle, for example: Repetitive strain injury and Back pain. It is designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph, particularly in the injured areas.

Each treatment is based on our members chief complaints utilizing an assortment of modalities to address any needs.

By definition, a personal fitness trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals. NFPT

  • An ability to design individual and group exercise programs tailored to the needs and attainable goals of specific clients

  • An ability to execute individual fitness program design in a safe and effective way

  • A desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise

  • An ability to motivate others to improve their overall fitness and health

  • A dedication to maintaining personal integrity and your own health and fitness
